This is a UI/UX design concept I created for a small job and household chores app — think of it like a modern platform for booking everyday services like lawn mowing, snow shoveling, spring clean-ups, plumbing, and even dog poop pickup. The goal was to make the experience simple, approachable, and fast — especially for people who just want to get things done without spending time searching or navigating through cluttered menus.
From a UX perspective, my focus was on clarity and accessibility. The home screen uses a clean, card-based layout with large images and readable text to help users instantly recognize services. I designed it to feel welcoming and intuitive, even for first-time users. The “Popular Services” and “For Your Home” sections are clearly categorized, helping users find what they need without overthinking.
The top search bar and greeting make the app feel personal, while the “View all” options and category filters give users full control without overwhelming them. The bottom navigation bar provides direct access to core sections like Explore, Projects, Messages, and More — keeping things consistent and familiar.
I also worked on keeping the visual hierarchy strong: green tones and whitespace bring freshness and clarity, while bold icons and rounded cards help guide the user’s eye across content naturally. The app also supports micro-interactions like tapping to favorite a service, which helps users personalize their experience over time.
Beyond just looking good, this design solves a real problem: making local, everyday services easy to find and book. It’s built for speed, simplicity, and a stress-free user journey — exactly what people want when they’re already busy.
